Double-Sided Flexible Circuits
Double-Sided Flexible Circuits
- Double-sided flexible circuits consist of two copper layers encapsulated by a flexible dielectric film.
- Normally connected with a plated through hole.
- Double-sided flexible circuits can be fabricated with or without coverlayers, or exposed pads.
- Access holes or exposed pads without covers may be on either or both sides
- Vias can be covered on both sides.
- Features of double-sided flexible circuits include:
- Two conductive layers.
- Component assembly available on both sides.
- Fingers are an integral part of the conductor patterns.
- Stiffeners, pins, connectors, components, are optional.
